hence the whole reason that Lennon/McCartney is a legendary pairing. sure, they wrote plenty of dumb — and extremely catchy — love songs, yet they also cranked out a number of thoughtful and innovative and etc., etc. songs. :]
listening just now made me realize how particularly … applicable this is to a certain situation.
